The White House

The White House provides a homely, safe and caring environment for residents, without being over protective. All our staff acknowledge the right to individuals’ privacy, offering dignity and respect, assisting the individual to maintain independence for as long as they choose to live at The White House.
Purchased by Julie Harrison in 1983 as a private house, and adapted to meet the varying  abilities and needs of 46 residents who reside here. Facilities in the main house include a beautiful newly refurbished lounge, conservatory, and dining room with kitchenette, all enjoying lovely views.

On the ground floor there are five single en-suite bedrooms, a new assisted bath/shower room with toilet, and a new shaft lift for those who choose not to use the stairs. Two new stairways lead to the first and second floor. The first floor has a shower room/ toilet, ten single en-suite bedrooms, with four further en-suite bedrooms on the second floor.
The three 9 bed units - Botley, Bishops Waltham and Hedge End all have en-suite shower facilities, two lounges, and assisted bathrooms available throughout the home.
We welcome visitors at any time and encourage relatives to participate in the care of their loved ones if they wish.
