The White House is a beautiful country house set in 18 acres of formal gardens, woodland and paddocks.
In the safe and secure gardens accessed via a lavender edged promenade there are patios, fish and duck ponds and paddocks. Residents have the opportunity for relaxation and exercise where they can enjoy the many animals from birds, wallabies, micro pigs, pygmy goats, horses and ducks to rabbits.
There is a central courtyard freely accessible from all communal areas.
Meals are served outside in the summer if requested. A bar-b-q is available for relatives to use on their visits if they choose.
The White House has four units all linked on the same site. The original home the Main House, Hedge End, Botley & Bishops Waltham Units.
Each unit including the main house, has its own care manager who organises the day to day running of the unit.
Staff are specific to their unit offering one member of staff to every 4.5 residents, and one member of staff to every 5 residents in the main house.
