Well, what a month its been here at The White House, something we never thought we would ever experience, as I'm sure you will all agree. We thought we would post an update to let everyone know what has been happening as you're unable to visit your loved ones during this difficult time.....
Our coffee mornings are continuing to be a success with homemade cakes, muffins and a selection of coffee from Americano to Cappuccino!!
Our Easter weekend was filled with treats and fun as the residents participated in making Chocolate Easter Bunnies. The weather was perfect and we all enjoyed a Cocktail Party in the garden. We are planning on holding an Art Exhibition soon and hope the sun continues to shine for this event too. Staff and residents have been making cards which will be sent out to family members to let them know we are all thinking of them and sending our love. As you can see we everyone has been kept busy, we have even been making bath bombs, fudge and some tasty fruit kebabs
We are all pleased to hear that the Government have now agreed to COVID testing in care homes, supporting us to continue to protect both our residents and staff within the home, this news is such a relief.
Our Skype messaging service is proving to be a great success and we welcome as many of you to take advantage of this. Please contact the relevant unit for more details.
Lastly, we would like to thank everyone for their continued support during this difficult time, we hope to see you all soon for a big celebration!
