Christmas Update

Well what a year it has been!!!

Even though this Christmas has brought challenges and it isn’t going to be a normal Christmas for any of us, we have kept our spirits high with some fantastic decorated trees and your loved ones have enjoyed lots of festivities. This has included making Christmas Cards, delicious Christmas Cakes, mince pies and rather impressive Yule logs - which we cant wait to sample!!! Instead of having our annual visit from the children of Curdridge School and their amazing voices singing Carols we have enjoyed our own Carol Singing Concerts which has even included mulled wine!! Laura will be performing her adaptation of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas’ to included each individual resident – this is a White House tradition that everyone really enjoys.

Of course Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without presents and a turkey dinner followed by Christmas pudding, and as always we will be celebrating in style on Friday with lots of gifts and a delicious lunch prepared by Aline, ensuring everyone eats well and has a fantastic day!!!!

Lastly we would like to say on behalf of all the residents and staff at The White House we wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas and we hope that the New Year brings some kind of return to normality for everyone as soon as possible.

Thank you for all your continued support during the most difficult year we have ever faced.

Best wishes from everyone at The White House
